Rat patrol is a group of men who ride ATV's. In Attica, IN there is a place called the Bad Lands. It is this huge riding place. They want to do a poker run, a mud boguh and a utility race. They are going down this week-end to discuss it with the owner. We are hoping that he will go for it. If he does, were going to try for March. We will contact newspapers, local TV stations and magazines and any other media we can come up with. If anyone has any suggestions- please let me know. We would even do shirts. I am so excited about this and just pray it flys with the Bad Lands owner. He will be getting the Member phamplet, a copy of the Newsletter and a Parents reference guide. This should get him to agree. What a way for the Bad Land to get media coverage, Rat Patrol to show they care- and for CHERUBS!!!!!!!! _________________ Stephanie (Shelby's Mom LCDH 7-10-06), ECMO 7 days, 2 DH repairs, hital hernia repair, Cliff Lip repair, Nissen and Mickey button. Thank you so much, Stephanie!!! _________________ mom of Shane (1/28/93-9/11/99) LCDH x 6, multiple complications and birth defects, Duke PICU first 10 months, trach for 3 years, vent for 2 years, oxygen for 2.5 years, developmentally delayed, cerebra palsy, hearing impaired, blind for 1 yr, home-schooled, Mic-Key button and severe feeding issues, pneumonia, blood infection, ASD, pulmonary sequestration, tracheomalacia, bilateral undescended testes, hypospadius, etc... you name it, the kid probably had it, except for ECMO. Walked, did sign language, adored Sesames St and books and his Precious Moments doll... despite all a very, very happy and loving and generous kid. Lost to extremely rare complications due to reherniation and gastropleural fistula at age 6 and a half. Also wife to my amazing, supportive, wonderful husband, Craig and step-mom to my incredible 13-yr-old twins, Braden and Garret also President & Founder, CHERUBS since 1995
